In accordance with the requirements of the European Network Code on Capacity Allocation Mechanisms (CAM NC), BBL Company offers transport capacity products on PRISMA, the joint capacity booking platform of European network operators.

On gas day 29 March 2025 there will be a switch from winter time to summer time. This means that this gas day will have 23 hours.

Currently, the BBL physical flow direction is set to Forward Flow (NL to GB). BBLC will be switching the physical flow direction to Reverse Flow (GB to NL) starting on 4 October 2025 at 06:00 CEST. This process is expected to be completed by 5 October 2025 at 06:00 CEST.

As of gas day 15 July 2023 until 1 September 2023, BBL Company will increase the firm technical available Reverse Flow capacity (GB > NL) to 7,699,193 kWh/h. As all capacity up to 7 GWh/h is already sold out, an additional 699,193 kWh/h Firm Reverse Flow capacity will become available in the within day and daily auctions on PRISMA. This additional Firm Reverse Flow capacity will also be offered in the upcoming monthly August 2023 auction scheduled for 17 July 2023 on PRISMA.

BBLC would like to remind shippers to the upcoming quarterly PRISMA auction which shall take place on the 2nd of November 2021. This auction will give BBLC shippers the opportunity to buy the remaining firm capacity for the Q1’22, Q2’22 & Q3’22 products in forward and reverse flow direction.

Every year, BBL Company performs planned maintenance. The 30 - day period within which the planned maintenance will take place in 2024 is the period from 1 September 2024 to 30 September 2024.

BBLC has published its tariffs and starting multipliers for the upcoming gas year 2023 and beyond, which apply to Forward Flow (NL to GB) and Reverse Flow (GB to NL) capacity products offered via PRISMA and Implicit Allocations.

From 1 April 2024 onwards, BBL Company will make adjustments to some of its components which are part of the formula to determine the commodity charge.

BBL Company (BBLC) is pleased to announce the upcoming launch of a new Implicit Allocation Mechanism (IAM) platform, designed to streamline capacity bookings via multiple brokers. This innovative solution, developed in collaboration with PRISMA, is planned to go live on the 9th of December 2025.

Effective from gas day 17 April 2025, 06:00 CEST, BBLC will be implementing a reduction in all tariffs for Reverse Flow products for the remaining periods of gas year 2024. This includes quarterly, monthly, daily, and within-day products.

BBL Company is currently experiencing a constraint in its available technical reverse flow capacity due to lower-than-expected pressure at the Bacton Gas Terminal within Britain’s National Transmission System.

BBLC is pleased to announce that it will reintroduce reverse flow capacity products from the 1st of April 2022 onwards. The capacity products can be booked from 21 March 2022 onwards.

On 2 April 2024, Ofgem approved the Interconnection Agreement and the Pressure Service Charges Agreement between BBL Company and National Gas Transmission which includes the Enhanced Pressure Service (EPS).

In accordance with our General Terms and Conditions, effective as of 1 October 2025, BBLC has determined that the period during which the planned maintenance for 2026 will take place is set between 21 September 2026 and 19 October 2026.
