Commodity Charge update
1 March 2024
From 1 April 2024 onwards, BBL Company will make adjustments to some of its components which are part of the formula to determine the commodity charge.
BBL Company’s focus is to have its commodity charge as much cost reflective as possible.
Due to a substantial increase in 2024 for the electricity connection costs, the fixed fee (F) will be increased from 0.09 €/MWh to 0.175 €/MWh for both forward flow allocations as well as reverse flow allocations.
Furthermore, there will be some changes applicable to the other factors of the commodity charge formula:
- The factor A for forward flow allocations will decrease from 0.0026 to 0.0021.
- The factor A for reverse flow allocations will decrease from 0.0026 to 0.0024.
- The factor B for reverse flow allocations will decrease from 0.0020 to 0.0000 (zero).
More details can be found on BBL Company’s tariff page.
