Changes in available technical capacities

Reverse Flow capacity (GB > NL)
In July 2023, BBL Company announced a temporary increase of firm technical available Reverse Flow capacity from 7,000,000 KWh/h to 7,699,193 kWh/h. BBLC is pleased to inform that this increased technical Reverse Flow capacity will remain available.
Forward Flow capacity (NL > GB)
Taking into account system integrity and efficient and economic network operation, BBL Company has decided to reduce its Forward Flow available technical capacity from 20,600,000 kWh/h to 18,000,000 kWh/h.
This reduction will come into force from 19 June 2024 onwards.

BBL Pipeline celebrates 20 years of connecting the Netherlands and Great Britian with public Open Day in Anna Paulowna
The installation in Anna Paulowna, which has served as an important link in the energy connection between the Netherlands and Great Britain for the past twenty years, will open its doors to the public on Saturday, 26 September. Visitors will have a unique opportunity to take a look behind the scenes at a site that is normally not accessible to the public. It is here that the 235-kilometre gas pipeline beneath the North Sea connects the two countries.

BBLC tariffs for gas year 2026 and beyond
BBL Company has published its tariffs for gas year 2026 and beyond . These apply to Forward Flow (NL to GB) and Reverse Flow (GB to NL) capacity products offered through PRISMA and the Implicit Allocation mechanism.
