Once you have registered as a shipper, you can contract capacity in the BBL. Both Forward Flow as well as Interruptible Reverse Flow capacity is sold via auctions on the PRISMA platform. Prerequisite is being a registered shipper at PRISMA.
Disclaimer for the quarterly auctions
On 6 November 2017 the quarterly auctions will be held for Q1, Q2 and Q3 of 2018 for IP Julianadorp and IP Bacton. In case the TTF market merger will be implemented per 1 January 2018, the following applies for all bookings made by market parties that participated on 6 November 2017 in the Q1, Q2 or Q3 2018 auction:
- with regard to capacity bought at IP Julianadorp, the booking agreement will terminate
- with regard to capacity bought at IP Bacton, the IP Bacton tariff will be increased with 100% (i.e. adding up the former IP Julianadorp BBL tariff)
Gasunie Transport Services (GTS) and BBL Company (BBLC) aim to integrate their transport systems by removing Interconnection Point (IP) Julianadorp by 1 January 2018.
Pending the decision of the NRAs on the proposed integration and until further notice, GTS will continue to offer capacity at network point Julianadorp in the coming capacity auctions on the PRISMA platform.
A reason for a shipper to participate in the auction might be to secure capacity at Julianadorp in case the NRAs do not approve the proposed integration.
If the NRAs do approve the proposed integration as we expect, all transport contracts on Julianadorp including contracts concluded in the upcoming auctions will be annulled with mutual consent by 1 January 2018.
