As BBL Company has mentioned earlier on this website, one of the three compressors at the Noord-Holland compressor station is seriously damaged and unavailable for compression due to a major technical problem. BBL Company would like to inform you on the current status. At this moment the most likely scenario is that all three compressors will be fully operational again as from the start of the 2008/2009 winter season.
BBL Company emphasizes once more that the capacity of the two remaining units is sufficient to meet the contractual obligations, but without the usual spare capacity. This means that a trip in one of the remaining units immediately will lead to a flow reduction, also during the summer months.
We will keep you informed via this website.
