Project scope

The BBL project consists of the following six elements:

1. Compression facilities in Noord-Holland.
2. An onshore pipeline section to designated pipeline dune crossing location near Julianadorp.
3. A dune crossing/landfall from behind the dunes to a location offshore from the coast, preferably constructed using the horizontal directional drilling technique.
4. An offshore pipeline crossing the North Sea from The Netherlands to the UK.
5. A pipeline section crossing the beach at Bacton.
6. An onshore pipeline section to the gas terminal in Bacton.
