BBL Company starts Open Season for pipeline capacity in January and February 2007

BBL Company is currently finalizing the construction
of a gas transmission pipeline between the UK and the Netherlands which
will connect Balgzand and Bacton, the Balgzand Bacton pipeline (BBL).
The gas will be flowing from the Netherlands to the UK. On 1 December
2006, BBL Company will start its commercial operation. From 1 January
2007 to 28th February BBL Company will have approximately 5.7 million
kWh/h transmission capacity available in the BBL. In an open season, BBL
Company now offers this capacity to the market.
Open Season Procedure
BBL Company sells the available capacity on a
monthly basis. More information, including contractual information and
tariffs, will be published on the website of BBL Company. Until 18
December 2006 interested parties can send a binding request for
transmission capacity in the BBL to BBL Company, by returning a fully
completed and singed transmission contract for January and February
20007.
On 18 December 2006 the capacity requests will be allocated to shippers.
From 18 December 2006 new requests will be treated on a first come first
serve basis.

BBL Company
BBL Company is a joint venture between E.ON-Ruhrgas (D), Fluxys (B)
and the N.V. Nederlandse Gasunie (NL) and constructs a 235 km long 36"
high pressure gas pipeline from the Netherlands (Balgzand) to the UK (Bacton).
The BBL will allow additional import of gas from Europe to the UK, to
increase security of energy supply as the country relies more heavily on
imported gas from 2005.
