Technical problem at Noord-Holland compressor station but flow continues

[Groningen, 5 February 2008]

Due to a major technical problem in one of the three compressors at the Noord-Holland compressor station, this compressor is seriously damaged and unavailable for compression. At this moment BBL Company is, together with the supplier of the compressor, investigating the cause of the failure. Everybody is working hard to solve this problem. The repair time will most probably stretch over a longer period of time.
BBL Company emphasizes that the capacity of the two remaining units is sufficient to meet the contractual obligations, but without the usual spare capacity.
